Lemonade Day Promotes Kids Opening Their Own Businesses Nothing combines better than a bright day and lemonade. Such was the setup on Saturday (5/2/2026) in Galveston and League City as more than 800 small businesses - AKA lemonade stands - were serving up a variety of lemonades, sweets, and art. Gina Spagnola, CEO of the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce, is the Lemonade Day director and was joined by State Rep. Terri Leo-Wilson and one of the stand owners, Abby Ferguson.
