Frank's Collision Repair Opens New Location in Houston Frank's Collision Repair, one of the largest independently-owned collision repair companies in the region, celebrated the official grand opening of its ninth location in Clear Lake City, Houston. Located on Space Center Boulevard, the new shop expands the company's footprint in the area, providing comprehensive repair services and strengthening its partnerships with major insurance brands. President and CEO Frank McClosky, a University of Houston-Clear Lake graduate, explained the strategic move. “We're having a grand opening for our newest location here on Space Center. It’s kind of right between two of our existing stores, Webster and La Porte,” McClosky stated. “We like this market. It’s a good spot. So we're constantly looking for new good opportunities to expand our footprint so we can serve all our customers.” The new facility was established by acquiring an existing body shop from an owner ready to retire, which Frank’s has upgraded to meet its high operational standards. “We bought his operation and have been slowly upgrading, getting everything up to standard for doing the kind of work we like to do with insurance companies. We do a lot of direct repair work with the major insurance company brands. And so now we're having our official open house. We're fully ready to do everything and partner with a lot of our insurance companies and repair some cars,” McClosky added. Frank's Collision Repair now operates nine locations across the region, from Baytown to Texas City. McClosky emphasized the company's commitment to community and customer service, saying, “We like to try to serve our customers, we're somewhere in the middle. If you've got a problem, we'll stand behind our work.”
