Galveston County Authorities Apprehend Fugitive Sex Offender A 25-year-old Dickinson man, Adam Amador, was arrested in Houston on Monday (09/22/2025) by the Galveston County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Apprehension Division. The arrest was made in connection with a warrant for failure to register as a sex offender. According to the Sheriff's Office, Amador's legal troubles stem from a 2019 conviction for Indecency with a Child. The Fugitive Apprehension Division located and apprehended Amador in Houston, bringing him into custody.
