Food Town moving into old Santa Fe Arlan’s spot   On Monday (6/23/2025), during Santa Fe’s Mayor Monday Update, officials confirmed that regional grocer Food Town will be moving into the Santa Fe Junction Shopping Center, located at the corner of FM 646 and Hwy 6, to fill the space left by Arlan’s closure. “They’ve begun filing permanent paperwork with the city, and so we’re excited about Food Town coming in and giving our residents a second option when it comes to their grocery shopping,” said Santa Fe Mayor, Brandon Noto. Food Town is an independent grocery store, currently with 27 locations across the Houston area. The official opening date of the new Food Town store has not yet been announced.
