Hyper Local News & Social What does that mean. While i45NOW is the region's largest media outlet, we have always said we would be more. Now, I will from time to time in my personal profile promote i45NOW company stuff. However, my personal profile will mostly be about our dogs (Tessa Grace, Charlotte Grace, Bucky and the new addition Abigail Grace, me and my wife having fun, family stuff and anything University of Texas \m/ Hook 'Em. One of the things we noticed many years ago was how Facebook, X, Insta etc. manipulated its users. Algorithms would hype up content that the tech firms thought you wanted to see and other stuff was pushed down. They also would use algorithms to push sponsored content on you in various ways. i45NOW, I am proud to say, doesn't do that. The only algorithms we have track content as what is the most viewed so if you want you decide if that is what you want to see first. We have algorithms that track how often all our users interact with the app and website, so we can make improvements. It does not track you as an individual. NONE of that data is shared with or sold to anyone else. In the coming weeks we will be rolling out new and enhanced features for our Hyper Local Social side of i45NOW. This will allow you to interact with others, post information about what's happening in your community and express your views on what's happening locally.
