Woman jumps to her death from downtown Galveston parking garage Memorial Day weekend visitors witnessed a frightening sight on Friday (5/23/2025) when a woman jumped to her death from the top level of a downtown parking garage in Galveston. The 52-year-old woman died after jumping from the 5-story garage at the corner of Market Street and 21st Street at about 3 PM, Galveston police said.
