College of the Mainland Closed Until Noon Saturday Students and faculty of College of the Mainland (COM) will have a chance to sleep in Saturday (1/11/2025) as the school will be closed until noon. The reason? The City of Texas City is working on repairing water lines, which will keep COM shuttered until the clock strikes 12. The closing also includes the library and gym. Once the clock strikes noon, COM will begin its normal Saturday schedule.
