Longtime area staple Norman Frede Chevrolet is now Fertitta Chevrolet after the Tillman Fertitta-owned group purchased the Houston-area dealership on Monday (9/09/2024). Fertitta Chevrolet, located at 16801 Feather Craft Lane in Houston, is the first non-luxury dealership for Fertitta, who owns Post Oak Motor Cars locations in Uptown Houston and The Woodlands. "There's no reason or need for us to move the store out of this area," said Lonny Soza, Executive Manager of Fertitta Chevrolet. "It's established in the community. It's very much a part of the community, and our ownership will be much on the same path." The transition has run smoothly. The Fertitta Chevrolet signs are already up, and there are plans for a grand opening in the near future. Soza said the decision on where to host the party has yet to be decided. "We're excited to welcome the Fertitta group to our store," said Lenny Gordon, General Manager of Fertitta Chevrolet.
