Hitchcock woman faces murder charge after stabbing at Texas City nightclub Texas City police on Thursday tracked down a 35-year-old woman who is accused of stabbing a woman to death during a fight inside a West Side club last week. Brittany Richard and others were enjoying a night out at the Time Out Sports Bar #5, 9300 EF Lowry Expressway #30, when a fight broke out, Texas City Police Sgt. Jimmie Reynolds said. When officers arrived at around 12:35 AM Friday (8/30/2024), they found three stabbing victims. One of those stabbed was Richard, who was taken to the hospital but died. Investigators were able to zero in on a suspect quickly, but the Hitchcock woman accused in the killing couldn't be found locally, police said. At about 7:30 PM Tuesday (9/3/2024), police tracked down Shinyce Felder at a residence in the 2700 block of Brewster Street in Houston’s Third Ward. She was booked into the Galveston County Jail on a charge of murder and a charge of aggravated assault. Her bonds totaled $450,000, Sgt. Jeff Winstead said.
