San Jac curriculum important to building aerospace work force As the aerospace industry continues its explosive growth in the greater Houston and Galveston Bay areas, institutes of higher learning are shaping curricula to help prepare an emerging work force. One of the figures playing a role in the recent Citizens for Space Exploration advocacy trip to Washington, DC, was Clint Harris, Director of Aerospace for San Jacinto College. He explained that the curriculum is designed, in part, with assistance of industry partners, in order to determine what is best for the industry and for San Jac students. Appropriately, many of the aerospace related studies are conducted at the college’s EDGE Center, located at the Houston Spaceport between Intuitive Machines and the NASA Neutral Buoyancy Laboratory. i45NOW’s exclusive coverage of the Citizens for Space Exploration advocacy trip to Washington is sponsored by San Jacinto College. #SanJac
