Four arrested for soliciting children online Texas City police, along with multiple agencies arrested 4 men for online solicitation of minors. Texas City Police Department, Galveston County Shernff Office, and the Houston Metro Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force partnered together to conduct an operation that started Tuesday (3/26/2024) and ended Thursday (3/28/2024). The four arrested were; - Pedro Camarena, 26, of Lancaster, California, who was charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor Sexual Conduct with a $25,000 bond. - Bryan Huber, 24, of La Porte, who was charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor Sexual Conduct with an $80,000 bond. - Agustin Sosa, 46, of Houston, who was charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor under 14 with a $100,000 bond. - Francisco Aguilar, 32, of Houston, who was charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor under 14 with a $50,000 bond. On Wednesday (3/27/2024), one of the operations led to the death of Alfred Christopher Tornero, 30, who was also charged. Sheriff’s deputies found him and attempted to arrest him when Tornero shot and killed himself. DPS Texas Rangers are investigating Tornero’s death. Additionally, there are still 6 pending arrests for people will all be charged with Online Solicitation of a Minor.
