Kids get hands-on space education at Moon 2 Mars Festival at Space Center Houston • Tickets still available for Saturday, The All-American Rejects to perform The Moon 2 Mars Festival at Space Center Houston is a way for many young ones to learn about space exploration and all things STEM in a hands-on way. At the same time, the festival is fun for parents because they can enjoy live music. Moon 2 Mars, a 4-day festival, has many fun & educational activities like robotics, a planetarium, rocket ship building, a kinetic dance floor and more. This was the 3rd year of the event. “You get to experience what is new and going on in space exploration, in a hands-on way,” said Keesha Bullock, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Space Center Houston. Friday (3/15/2024) afternoon’s performance was by Bidi Bidi Banda. While Friday wraps up, you can still get in on the action on Saturday (3/16/2024). The final day of the festival will kick off at 9 AM. Saturday night’s live music will be The All-American Rejects, who will perform at 7:30 PM. Get tickets and more information at SpaceCenter.org.
