Justice Forward works with courts to provide transitional services When an inmate is released from the justice system, oftentimes they have no place to go, few people to rely on and minimal help to get back on their feet. That's where Justice Forward comes into play. Justice Forward helps those released from jail with housing assistance, transitional living arrangements, specialty counseling, recovery coaching and transportation when possible. The goal is to help the man or woman they are serving avoid repeating the activities that landed them in trouble with the law i the first place and return to being a productive member of society. Justice Forward works in concert with Galveston County judges, many of whom were in attendance Wednesday (3/6/2024) at a ribbon cutting with the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce. The organization serves Fort Bend, Galveston and Harris Counties, but all money collected in Galveston County is returned to the local community by funding the programs that assist their clients in the area. GalvestonNOW/i45NOW in partnership with the Galveston Regional Chamber of Commerce, in support of local businesses, produces business profiles to promote new members. Want to be featured?
