17-year-old arrested in connection to Alvin RV park double homicide Thursday (2/1/2024), a 17-year-old was arrested and charged in connection to a double homicide at an Alvin RV park on January 17. Xzavier Flores, 17, of Alvin, was arrested at his home. He was charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon with a $200,000 bond. “More arrests are imminent and updates will follow,” Alvin Police Captain Todd Arendell said. At about 8 PM on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, Alvin Police Department responded to a shooting in 700 block of Steele Road, on reports of a break in at Steele Village RV park. Officers found 2 men who were shot and killed and another who was injured. The 2 killed were Aydin Torres, 17, of Alvin and Kalvin Carrasco, 17, of Alvin. Police initially said the suspect(s) fled the scene in a blue car and that they were looking for at least 4 suspects.
