Galveston/Bolivar ferry to scale back operations as weather worsens TxDOT officials confirmed Monday night that starting at 10 PM, ferries will run on a once every two-hour schedule. A boat will depart Galveston at 10 PM, midnight, 2 AM, 4 AM and 6 AM. Normal operations are scheduled to return to normal.
