TRAFFIC ALERT: Kemah/Seabrook state Highway 146 bridge reopens after closed due to icy conditions UPDATE 1:45 AM (1/16/2024): The Kemah/Seabrook bridge reopened at 1:45 AM Seabrook and Kemah police announced Monday (1/15/2024) night that the state Highway 146 bridge crossing Clear Creek Channel was shut down due to icy conditions. At 1:45 AM, Tuesday (1/16/2024) the bridge was reopened after it was treated for icy conditions. There are no other reports of major road closures in the Galveston Bay Area. Still, officials ask that people stay home and stay off the roadways.
