Rolf Nelson named police chief in Seabrook The City of Seabrook appointed Rolf Nelson as the new police chief. Nelson started his new role on Monday (9/11/2023). The city said Rolf was chosen because of his extensive background in law enforcement. He served as Major, Captain, Lieutenant, Sergeant and Deputy, during his 33-years with the Harris County Sheriff's Office. Rolf served in the United States Army and a Police Officer for the University of Houston Police Department. “I am committed to working tirelessly to ensure the safety and security of our community,“ Nelson said.
